Lot 01: Apollo 14 signed program
From a March 17, 1971 ceremony where the Governor of Nevada declared
the day as "Apollo XIV Astronaut Day". A few of these programs,
such as this one, were hand-signed by the crew, Alan Shepard,
Stuart Roosa, and Edgar Mitchell, and presented to VIP dignitaries
present. ex. The Edgar Mitchell Collection.
Lot 02: Apollo Commemorative Matchbook Series
RCA created a limited series of these matchbooks for each
Apollo mission. Limited in production, this set is numbered
22,961. ex. Paul Weitz Collection
Lot 03: Collection of Fisher Space Pens
Included are three sample space pens made and sold by Fisher Pens to
benefit the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation. The Apollo 11 pen,
the Alan Shepard Golf Pen, and the Telescoping Pen. The Fisher

Lot 04: Collection of U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame induction signed prints
This lot includes authentically autographed posters from the space
shuttle inductions in 2001, 2004, 2005, and 2006. These prints

Lot 05: STS-1 Badges, Permits, and Autograph
An assortment of original STS-1 badges, used but in excellent

meet necessary nutritional requirements. Seventy foods were available
from which the crew could select their in-flight diets. These 4 food
cans were constructed with membranes or other designed devices which
restrained the food within the container when in zero-gravity and
allowed the crew to eat with conventional tableware. Water, when
needed, was added from the outlets located on the pedestal. Also:
A food log used during training for the Skylab 1 mission. ex. The
Paul Weitz Collection.
Lot 07: Collection of Signed Prints
Mercury and Space Shuttle Astronaut John Glenn signed this Atlas
print while celebrating the 40th anniversary of his Mercury flight
at Kennedy Space Center in 2002. The second print portraits him
as senator and signed while he was in office.
Lot 08: Signed Moon Print
Apollo 15's Command Module Pilot Al Worden has adapted photography
he took during his mission into striking pieces of artwork including
this piece, titled "Moon". Lunar surface pockmarks, craters, and
rilles are vividly seen in this shot of the Moon. The mounted print
is 6 of 100 and measures 16" x 20".
Lot 09: Apollo 13 Signed Cover

April 14, 1970 from Kennedy Space Center. April 14 was the date
the crew was scheduled to land on the moon.
Lot 10: FLOWN Apollo 11 Thermal Protection Insulation
Flew to the Moon as part of Apollo 11's Command Module
"Columbia" which carried the crew of the first manned lunar
landing mission from July 16-24, 1969. This pressure-sensitive
Kapton polymide tape was part of the spacecraft's thermal
protection subsystem and removed from the heat shield after
splashdown.
Lot 11: Signed Print
This signed print depicts Buzz Aldrin walking on the moon. Aldrin and his crew mate Neil Armstrong were the first men to walk on the moon on July 20, 1969 during the Apollo 11 mission. Matted and framed with archival methods.
Lot 12: FLOWN Apollo 17 Kapton
This swatch of pressure-sensitive Kapton polyimide tape was cut from
Apollo 17's Command Module thermal protection subsystem. Applied

space. Mission commander Eugene Cernan's corporation had these
acrylics produced.

This medallion is one of 300 that the Apollo 16 crew commissioned the
Robbins Company of Attleboro, MA to mint. Still in its original
