Apollo 17 Autographed Photos

On December 13, 2002, a few days prior to the 30th anniversary of their launch, Apollo 17 astronauts Eugene Cernan and Harrison (Jack) Schmitt signed a limited number of photographs for the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation. The first photo (shown above), taken by Command Module Pilot Ron Evans on their way back to Earth, shows the two moonwalkers together inside the Command Module. The second photo (shown below) shows the liftoff of their Saturn V from Kennedy Space Center Launch Complex 39 on December 17, 1982 at 12:33 a.m.

About the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation

All monies raised from the sale of these prints will go directly to fund scholarships for exceptional college students pursuing advanced degrees in science or engineering, through the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation. Established by the original Mercury Astronauts in 1984, the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping the United States retain its world leadership in science and technology by providing scholarships to college students who exhibit motivation, imagination, and exceptional performance in the fields of science and engineering. ASF currently awards $190,000 annually to 19 students.
