Astronaut Robert Crippen Private Signing

Hosted by the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation

Robert Crippen

Be one of the fortunate few to add the autograph of NASA's first Space Shuttle Pilot to your collection! The Astronaut Scholarship Foundation (ASF), a non-profit organization, is rolling out the red carpet for the private signing of four-time spaceflight veteran, shuttle astronaut, Robert L. Crippen. The signing will be held in late October with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the ASF.

Space enthusiasts have until October 19, 2009 to send in artifacts, baseballs, covers, flown items, models, and photos — nearly anything you desire — to be autographed by this space hero. All items must be accompanied by the Order Form and Item Description Form (Signing has concluded).

Crippen, a U.S. Hall of Fame astronaut, piloted the first space shuttle mission in 1981, where he and crewmate John Young evaluated launch and landing operations of the first true reusable manned spaceship. Two years later, Crippen commanded the first successful space repair mission for a disabled sun-study satellite during STS-7. After his final two missions in 1984, Crippen achieved a total of 565 hours of spaceflight.

Items will be accepted from now to October 19, 2009. Don't delay! Launch your unique space items for rendezvous with Crippen's autograph today!
