Workforce Partnership

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This program will increase awareness of the impact that science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) have on America’s progress and economy. The goal is to grow the number of qualified candidates by partnering with corporations that focus on STEM. Together we can strengthen the talent that will be available for tomorrow’s workforce. ASF has 30 years of experience and a proven track record of identifying and supporting some of the best and brightest STEM undergraduate students in the United States. The accomplishments of our over 400 alumni have profoundly impacted our nation through technological innovations in health care, energy, defense, aerospace, homeland security, and so much more. As we increase the number of universities and scholar participants, establish internships, employment opportunities, and build a network of leading employers, we will advance America’s global competitiveness and future.

WHY HIRING THE BEST IS IMPERATIVE TO EVERY U.S. COMPANY
1. For the first time in U.S. history, more than half of the awarded U.S. patents went to non U.S. companies1
2. If the U.S. regains its status as a top-performing country, its (GDP) could increase by 5% by 20372
3. A significant percentage of technical talent is being acquired via foreign students through U.S. universities3
