Hoot Gibson STS-71 Autographed Print - Greeting Dezhurov

STS-71 Commander Robert "Hoot" Gibson greets Cosmonaut Vladimir N. Dezhurov, the commander of Mir-18. This historic rendezvous paved the way for future dockings with Mir and the International Space Station. Both crews performed joint scientific and medical experiments designed to test the human body in microgravity. A limited number of 8" x 10" signed photo prints are available for $75 ($150 framed). All monies raised from the sale of these prints will go directly to fund scholarships for exceptional college students pursuing advanced degrees in science or engineering, through the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation. Established by the original Mercury Astronauts in 1984, the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping the United States retain its world leadership in science and technology by providing scholarships to college students who exhibit motivation, imagination, and exceptional performance in the fields of science and engineering.
