Tropical Evening with the Astronauts Reception & Dinner
Nothing compares to a lazy Florida evening, with an ocean breeze, palm trees swaying back and forth and relaxing with a cold drink in your hand all while engaging in tales from American heroes. This is your destiny! The Tropical Evening with the Astronauts Reception & Dinner will be held at the Radisson at the Port, in Cocoa Beach and be like no other dinner you've ever attended. There's no need to put on a stuffy tuxedo or fancy dress for this event! The attire is Beach Formal — no flip flops, no ties — just you in comfortable clothes that would be suitable for a nice dinner at a beachfront restaurant.
You'll be greeted by the sound of steel drums and the sweet aroma of coconut as you enter into the reception hall that evening. The room will be decked out in a Florida theme, with astronauts and show participants mingling with guests, before joining you for a dinner.
Throughout the night, the unique items being offered in the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation's Sixth Annual Auction of Astronaut Experiences and Memorabilia will be on display and open for bids. The auction will conclude that evening at the dinner.
The Tropical Evening with the Astronauts Reception and Dinner tickets are included in most ticket packages or can be purchased separately. Sponsorships are also available.
