VIRTUAL Apollo 13 50th Anniversary Celebration

This year has presented tremendous challenges as we navigate through COVID-19 and the continued impacts on our communities, businesses, and personal lives. Last Spring, we made the difficult decision to postpone our highly anticipated Apollo 13 50th Anniversary Gala – giving us all a future date when we could come together after the pandemic dissipated and life resumed to normal. Unfortunately, “normal” is not in near sight. As the effects of the pandemic linger, safety remains the top priority for both the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation and our partners at Kennedy Space Center Visitors Complex. At this time, an in-person event at the Saturn V Center will not be possible. This commemoration is important to us. We cannot think of a mission that inspires us more to navigate through this unprecedented time and we are excited to announce that we will be delivering this celebration directly to you!

Please join the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 13 virtually on Friday, October 9, 2020 at 7 PM ET. Join crewmates Jim Lovell and Fred Haise along with many other special guests as we commemorate one of the greatest examples of teamwork success in history!
