Sir Gregory Paul Winter FRS is a Nobel Prize winning molecular biologist best known for his work on developing technologies to make therapeutic monoclonal antibodies for treatment of non-infectious diseases. His inventions have been used in top selling pharmaceutical drugs, including for treatment of multiple sclerosis, cancer and rheumatoid arthritis. He has combined his research at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (Cambridge, UK) with entrepreneurial activities and has founded three biotech companies.
